“Holy Grounds Columbarium” memorial is an above ground cemetery for placement of Loved One’s cremations. See our Progress!

The outdoor cemetery is situated in a tranquil 25 acre complex at Scottsdale First Assembly Church. The memorial site is designed to capture the natural desert surroundings, mountain views and mesmerizing Western sunsets.

All Columbarium Niches are located in an outdoor memorial garden, with three (3) phases of development planned, totaling 568 Niches. Phase I includes 280 Niches and is expected to be completed mid year 2011. Phases II and Phase III, each with 144 Niches will follow, based on market conditions.

Holy Grounds Niches are designed to weather the test of time. Our Niches are larger, constructed from aluminum, and maintained for life.

Each Niche will be constructed from aluminum plating with an interior dimension of 12” x 12” x 14”. This larger design allows for the future addition of a companion, at a later date, for a small up-charge, if and when desired.

After Urn placement, all Niches are sealed. This provides protection from outside atmospheric contaminations and / or changing weather conditions. Engraved marble face plates memorialize the individuals and or couples, along with their time spent on Earth.

In the future, Scottsdale First Assembly is planning to construct a Chapel adjacent to Holy Grounds, allowing special services for the Niche holders. The chapel will share main entrance with Holy Grounds.

Since our society has become more mobile every day and with the possibility that a Niche Holder might relocate, Holy Grounds provides each owner with a guarantee buy back program. We will buy back the Niche from the unit holder for 70% of the original Niche price.

Holy Grounds is an endowed columbarium cemetery. The endowment guarantees that funds will be available in perpetuity to continue all required maintenance and repairs. With each Niche sale, funds are deposited into Holy Grounds Endowment Care Trust. This is an irrevocable trust that we have selected to be serviced by Wells Fargo Bank.
